SHRI SUHAS M. MOKASHI was Secretary of The CKP Education Society for 6 years when the society which was dormant for several years was brought in lime-light. Later He was President of the Society for 9 years. During the period corpus of the society was raised from Rs. 9 lakhs to Rs. 45 lakhs.

Centenary of the Society was celebrated on 4th July 2000 with Air Chief Marshal Anil Tipnis as the Chief Guest. Donations of Rs. 15 lakhs were collected at that time

Efforts were made successfully to release special commemorative stamp of C D Deshmukh on 14th January 2004.

40 Years of experience in Process design / Project management / Technology management including Pilot plant design-development in design engineering organization.
 
1991-2000 Established Xytel India Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with Xytel Corporation. USA specialized in turnkey design- supply of PC-PLC controlled pilot plants for refineries, petrochemicals and specialty chemicals industry. He was Managing Director. Xytel India supplied several high pressure (250 bar), high temperature (500 deg C) pilot plants to refineries, dedicated continuous and multi-purpose batch pilot plants and semi- commercial plants. These included batch hydrogenation.
 
1966-1994 Davy Power-gas (now Aker Powergas) as Director Marketing and Technology. Started as Project Manager and then Manager Process Engg. Project Manager for several projects – Sodium Hydrosulphite for Indian Dyestuff Industries, Titanium Dioxide for Travancore Titanium Products, Rubber Chemicals for Monsanto etc. Process design and development from Lab scale for Glyoxal, Fumaric acid, Di-isopropyl Benzene, Polybutene etc.
 
1964-1966 Humphreys & Glasgow as  Process Engineer1961- 1964 Sardesai Bros. as Production Engineer in their textile auxiliaries and carboxy-methyl cellulose plant.
 
1958 -1959 production Engineer in rayon after treatment unit.
 
Winner of NOCIL Award for “Excellence in Process Design”.
 
Awarded “Distinguished Alumnus” by Institute of Chemical Technology (earlier UDCT)
 
G P Kane – Visiting Professor at UDCT. Now Honorary Professor at UICT.
 
Started post-graduate courses in “Piping Engineering” at MIT, Pune and “Chemical Technology Management” certificate course for PhD students at UICT
 
Co-authored with Prof. V V Mahajani a book “Chemical Project Economics”
